Do you need to take any images to create it? ye iv took the pictures out side of collage

Do you need to write any text? yeah for the blurb and title at the front

What are the dimensions? they are on my presentation slide along with my plan

What will the resolution be? it is all on my power point presentation slide.

older audience for my audience project

Blurb

the blurb needs to be different texted as the audiences are different as one for older and ones for younger , this is important because you don’t want a written adult blurb for a children’s film cover as they might not understand it properly for their age and the use of powerful words that the young people might not understand.

audience for media

Demographics-  groups of people with different attitudes and opinions , age , sexual orientation , race , education and income level.

Geodemographic –   its about setting and regional , and different interests for example the news is based on where each main city in the UK is happening not across the country to talk about them and give people privacy of their location.segments are uniquely positioned for “mass” targeting. There are some products for which every consumer is a “target”.

psychographic –  its been applied to the study of personality, values, opinions, attitudes, interests, and lifestyles. … Because this area of research focuses on activities, interests, and opinions, psychographic factors are sometimes abbreviated to ‘AIO variables’.

social occupation classification – allowing comparisons across different country’s   of different types of media sites and data.

social class – Transcript of Media Representations of Social Class. Modern day media representations of social class rarely focus on class conflict which some sociologists see as underpinning society. … Those who benefit are the ones who are seen as being wealthy and upper class and deserving of their position.

niche audience – Niche audience. Unlike mass audiences, which represent a large number of people, a niche audience is an influential smaller audience. … Sports channels, for example, STAR Sports, ESPN, STAR Cricket, and Fox Sports, target the niche market of sports enthusiasts.

mass audience – Mass media are distinguished from local media by the notion that whilst mass media aims to reach a very large market, such as the entire population of a country, local media broadcasts to a much smaller population and area, and generally focuses on regional news rather than global events.

focus group – It is a form of qualitative research consisting of interviews in which a group of people are asked about their perceptions, opinions, beliefs, and attitudes towards a product, service, concept, advertisement, idea, or packaging.

Target audience in films / games

film cover

Poster Cover

Image result for batman movie 1 poster

The image relates to both target audience because the poster makes it a target audience for adults and then the DVD cover makes it a target audience for younger aged people.

I like how the bats behind batman relate to him as a character and what actually happens in the film.

Both of the title difference are important so kids can grab there eye tension drawn towards the centre of the cover of the DVD compared to the adults it is more adult friendly with less colours and in the middle bottom of the cover.

The key images on the poster are batman bats and got Gotham city in the background and darkness because it links to bats and making it better as a poster.

The most important colour is the orange black because it has a really good fade making i look amazing of the poster.

young target audience –

It relates to the young target audience from the bright colours and makes it less scary for the young people which makes it more appealing and eye catching as a film cover.

I like how on the front of the cover it shows all the characters on the cover to represent what is in the film.

The title is in the middle makes it eye catching and easy to see from how its in the centre of the film cover.

The key images is batman and the bad villains and robin and bats and where its based in the background.

The important colours are the bright colours to show that it isn’t scary for young people.

Older target audience poster –

it relates to the older generation as its dark and more adult like of a poster for batman backstory also from the colours as being black and less bright colours make it appeal to the adults more.

i like how there are bats and batman that both link together because it will represents what happens in the film and how he becomes batman.

the title would be hard to see on the poster because its more based on the adult side compared to the child side.

the key images is batman bat and Gotham city because of the background representing the scene and where its based.

the important parts is the colours and how batman is represented in the poster as he is the main character in the film and also to represent what the film is about.

continuity

screen_shot_2017-05-15_at_7.jpgcontinuity error is consistency of the characteristics of people, plot, objects, and places seen by the reader or viewer over some period of time. … Continuity is particularly a concern in the production of film and television due to the difficulty of rectifying an error in continuity after shooting has wrapped up.

for example if a lady has a red jacket on then cuts to another scene around the same time and she has a blue jacket on its a continuity error.

Potato head photoshop

Screen Shot 2018-10-16 at 16.09.06.png

This screen shot shows all the different types of layers I have renamed instead of a standard layer. I have used a template to help me from the internet and making a new face out of fruit and by cutting them out and overlapping them so nothing is on the same layer.

We use layers to make good images and knowing one is above the other and by naming is to insight the fact of where each one I placed and which one part is what by naming them.

I could make it better by using loads of different fruits to make it more designed and better colours to bright it up to the viewer who is looking at this photoshop work but because it is my first time using photoshop some people understand how good or bad it is.

Things I have learned In The Last Couple Weeks

Using The Camera

Image result for camera

In the last couple of weeks i have learned how to use the focus at the front of the camera making the pictures that are being taken are clear and not blurry and more focused of what you want to have the main focus of. I have also learned how to zoom in and do different types of angles also different positions that I’ve learned to do ,for example.

Focus Shot , Close Up

Long Shot  IMG_6552.JPG

In this shot we used the light affect from the side to bring light in the corridor to make it better then me standing there in the dark. Using the windows makes a better light source then a light from inside the building.

The different types of camera angle shots

The Three Shot

The three shot shows who the main three characters are and showing each one of their face expressions of that moment of the scene , mainly the three shot means having three individual characters in one frame of a shot.

Low Angle Shot

The low angle shot frames the main subject in a low angle , it mostly used to do a emphasise power dynamics between characters. Using the low angel shot makes it seem that someone is looking up to them as a leader or controller.

Eye Level Shot

Using the eye level shot makes it in focus of being serious instead of using eye to eye contact with people it is used to talk to the camera or audience as a conversation instead of talking to a person its a lens of a camera.

Knee Level Shot

This is used by lowering the camera to the knee height this then shows how they are standing and to have a clear view what they are. it can emphasise a character’s superiority if paired with a low angle.

making a new layer in photo shop

Screen Shot 2018-09-21 at 15.40.46This shows how to add a layer on photo shop and this allows to have pictures in front of images and at the back of images to have a cool affect of overlapping images.

My weakness is that I’ve not used photo shop before and never been taut properly of how to use it compared to others making my work not the best as I’ve had no experience with it.

My advantages are that that i can make good ideas with different images and combine them together to bring out a better image and make it look good for my viewers.
